It was a week of gain for this pair which rose nearly 0.65%. USD was not that much perturbed by a unambiguous FOMC minutes, poor NFP and even risk-off themes due to attack on Syria by USA. CAD during risk-off also suffers and being commodity linked also fared poor due to soft commodity price. So nothing much for this pair to do last week despite heightened volatility and uncertainty in the financial markets.

The currency pair USD/CAD rebounded from the bottom of the channel and is traded in the zone between the support levels 1.3847 and 1.3776 and resistance levels 1.3985 and 1.4056. Indicators point to the possibility of growth of the pair to the resistance levels, where we can consider it for sale.

In the new year the pair USD/CAD closed all trading sessions with growth, having gained more than 550 points, which can be clearly seen on H1! Yesterday the pair updated High once again, and is now traded near the upper border of the rising channel shopping. Today, purchase toward resistance levels 1.4416 and 1.4494 should be considered, if the pair consolidates above the channel. Sales - below the current minimum - 1.4337. Support levels for today - 1.4301 and 1.4223.

Bears failed to take over the initiative, I consider buying. At the moment I am in a small plus, since last week I put an order to buy, as I wrote above. The first goal I am considering is the level of 1.3440. Then, when the order is into the black, the second target will be 1.3485

The pair finally reached good highs, at the moment the correction is inevitable. I'm opened trades at current prices to the level of 1.3250 and setting a stop loss at 1.3340. I don't expect the pair above, it will go up without any doubts, but not today, because it has been a very good new about the U.S. labour market, and further movement of the pair is clear

The pair is traded within a descending channel at 1.2900 support level. If support sustaints, it may grow to overcome sloping resistance line. And in case of consolidation above, it may start a new trend. As long as the inclined line of resistance is not broken, we go down.

Yesterday the currency pair USD /CAD flied to the30th figure, but then bounced off the lower border of the trading channel and came back. Now it is being traded near the upper border of the channel. If the pair goes up out of the channel, we shall open Buy trades to resistance levels 1.3233 and 1.3285. If it bounces, you should consider selling to support level 1.3153 and 1.3101

After trading finished last week, I still go on thinking that the price of a currency pair will rise. And it will be to the level of 1.3200 quite quickly

The pair is situated in small range between 1,3007 resistance and 1,2947 support level. The pair is trying to break resistance, but today is a flat day for it.

Canada inflation data was published on Friday. It allowed bulls to test 1.2290 resistance level. Then they stopped. But I guess, there will be still up trend today.

USDCAD continued to growth, and broke 1.2373 resistance level yesterday, and also 1.2400, which led this pair through to 1.2446. Now USD is trying to settle above 1.2400. in this case, some growth to 1.2600 is expected here.

There was a high activity in the middle of Wednesday. It was a good opportunity to make some profit. Now I guess, the pair will trade in a small range between 1.2040 and 1.2000.
