This pair was flat with the negligible loss of just 0.03%. So one can say this is the only pair in which USD was not the loser especially in the G10 currencies. May be the SNB (Swiss National Bank) is smoothing the price and not allowing the CHF to appreciate much. SNB’s favorite mode of intervention is this pair only. The last week was quite volatile for most pair with battered USD but this pair bucked the trend.

This pair bucked the usual trend affecting the USD and on the contrary posted gains of nearly 0.7%. Not bad at all. This at a time when USD data’s were more or less weak and the supporting factors were not good too. CHF is also a safe haven currency but the SNB monitors it highly and does not allow it to beyond a certain threshold!

A very good week for this pair as it gained nearly 1.4%.  Seems the move was entirely USD based as there was nothing much from CHF side with no big events/data’s from Switzerland. The market also was on risk-on mode as the French elections results moved on without much worry as the consensus candidate won which did not do any favors to the CHF or JPY. Nothing much to look forward next week too though traders might just focus on the usual factors.

This pair started off the week at 1.0028, finishing at 1.0091 with a gain of 0.6%. CHF is a safe-haven currency like JPY and gains during time of risk-offs and uncertainty. But despite this, the pair managed to be in positive territory mainly due to late surge of USD on Friday despite having a poor NFP and geo-political risks! The coming week would show whether the uncertainty in markets has really gone or it was one-off theme!

The range for the week was quite tight and the pair managed to drop around 0.70% in a risk-off market even though there was some late recovery primarily as a short term relief rally for USD as the Obamacare was not repealed, though the subsequent uncertainly might increase which might again put pressure on the US assets like USD. Guess investors won’t be taking too high risks and would want to ascertain the conditions before going for normal trading.

A week of gain with 0.64% with the pair starting off of at 1.0106 and closing at 1.0171 marked this pair’s movement this week which in my opinion was fairly tight range. The pair initially went down and later recovered. Nothing of much importance this week. The low’s and highs of the week were not that wide. Action undoubtedly shifts to next week’s busy schedule and traders would be on their toes, so to speak!

The pair USD/CHF has changed the trend to the downward and the daily timeframe has formed pinbar pattern without any support. I expect a correctional upward movement to the level of 1.0000, and from it a continued downtrend with targets for sales at the support level 0.9800.

At the moment, the chart of the currency pair USD/CHF shows that yesterday the pair reached the upper border of the trading channel and bounced off. Now the pair is traded in the area between the support levels 1.0003 and 0.9948 and resistance level 1.0076 and 1.0131. The indicators point to the possibility of selling the pair today to support levels

Currently the pair is in a little flat, but I expect revitalization of the main trend - upward movemen - so I will enter from current price level 1.0015. Then, rebound is possible and surge to the level of 1.0105 with a new strength. Meanwhile I will wait for the first goal to be reached.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I expect a correction for this pair expecting after such a rapid growth to the area 0.9970 - 0.9940...but it's going to be a slight increase in the area of 1.0080 - 1.0100 before this decline will be ...and further decrease to a specified target...and possibly even below - let's see...

After the currency pair USD /CHF fell to 96th figure on Friday, yesterday it has almost played back this drop, having passed 81 points in the northern direction. At the moment, on the H4 chart the pair is at the upper border of the descending trading channel, and the indicators near the overboughtness area, advise a quick sell of the pair toward support levels 0.9735 and 0.9705. Buying a pair to resistance levels 0.9786 and 0.9816 today should be seen above the channel.

The pair is currently being traded near the support level 0.9740, having rebounded from the top of the trading channel. If the pair touches the support, it should be sold to the support level 0.9716 and the lower bourder of the channel, which i already can be considered as an entry point for purchase. Resistance levels today are located above the channel on marks 0.9773 and 0.9797.

On the chart of the currency pair USD/CHF we can clearly see that the pair is being traded in an ascending channel. Yesterday it had rebounded from its upper border. Today, the pair is in the flat near the support level 0.9805 and indicators suggest to us that we should be selling to support level 0.9764, which could turn the price up as it has already did twice. Resistance levels today - 0.9848 and 0.9889

The pair will slowly return its lost position, after Friday decrease. In short term bulls try to settle at psychological 0.9245 level, and then they try to test 0.9290.

Recovery attempt of USDCHF was unsuccessful. Then the pair increase to 0.9579, it was sold back to the support level near 0.9500, which continues to hold back the bears.
